Why PlanMy for your guest list

Import from Excel

Already have a list in Excel? Upload it and your guests import automatically — no retyping hundreds of names.

Guest groups

Split into bride's family, groom's family, friends and colleagues. See how many are in each group and balance your tables easily.

Plus-ones & children, counted right

Each guest can have a +1 or children, with or without a seat. The head count always adds up, with no manual math.

Linked to RSVP & tables

Every RSVP updates the list, and each guest drags straight onto their table. One list, not five files.

How to build your list — three steps

Add or import names

Type guests by hand or upload your Excel. Your list is ready in minutes.

Set groups, plus-ones & children

Put each guest in a group and note plus-ones and children. The head counter updates automatically.

Send RSVPs & track

Share a digital invitation and see live who confirmed, who's a maybe and who declined.

How to organize your guest list properly

Your guest list drives the budget and the venue. A few tips:

The A-list and the B-list

Build your A-list first (the must-haves) and a B-list for invitations you send if declines come in. With online RSVP you see early how much room is left.

How many to invite

Expect 10–20% not to attend. Start from your venue capacity and your per-head budget, and work backwards.

When to lock the list

Finalize 2–3 weeks before, once RSVPs are in. Your venue and caterer need the final number.

Children and plus-ones

Decide early whether the wedding is child-friendly and whether single guests bring a plus-one. Mark it per guest so the count stays accurate.
